Beginners mat Pilates
Learn the foundations of Pilates. Breathing, core engagement & posture. Small and welcoming classes.
To truly benefit from Pilates you need to understand the basics; breathing, what muscles make up the ‘core’ and how to use them.
Educating my Clients on how to protect and strengthen their bodies is at the core of my teaching and I will always walk around the room to correct Clients to make sure they get the most out of each class. Protecting your back from over-working is key and using the right joints and muscles for all movement.
Once these foundations are in place I can gradually increase the challenge of the exercises and you will notice real improvements in what your body is capable of.
Intermediate mat Pilates
Once you have the foundations you can really challenge your strength. My intermediate classes are always different, using a range of props to make sure that you are always pushing yourself and getting stronger.
For those with Pilates experience who want to be challenged and see results.

Mobility
A gentle class to improve mobility, balance & strength. This class is suitable for seniors and those recovering from childbirth, injury or operations.

Men’s group mat Pilates classes
Although men are welcome in my group classes, I wanted to create a Pilates class specifically for men.
Their needs are particular - often because of bad sports injuries in the past and on the whole due to a sedentary lifestyle. The focus of this class is on stretch; in particular the hamstrings and hips as well as mobility and strength.
